I went live with my new site March 13. Now the problem is finding people who need a website revamped, a completely new website, or someone who just need to add a few things to their current site. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to advertise or where to advertise. Thanks for any suggestions or help. By the way the site is www.gozygo.com
Thanks
Terri

All i can suggest is to hang around webmaster communities like htmlforums and have a link to your site in your signature. Don't spam though...

You need META NAME="description" to be a description not keywords.
Also look at you website and be very critical. You must pay attention to detail. Bevel text logos are VERY amateurish. Stick to plain 2d or radical wire, pixel retro style 3d.
Also the bullets are week.
Also too gray and boring.

If your site is good enough for linkdup then u will get business through their site. (Even my site is not good enough)

You may like to try traffic-blast.tk
They offer a 275% Traffic Increase by using a couple of pop-up and exit-exchange programs. Highly recommended.

I dont think pop-up and exit-exchange programs will solve any traffic problems. You also get a poor rate of return and your visiters often have to put up with anoying banners.
You sell a service then pay per click and off-line adverticing is your best bet.

I would start with any of the top search engines (Yahoo, MSN, Google, AltaVista, AOL, etc...), and do a search for webmaster resources.
If you check out Yahoo
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=webmaster+resources&h=s
you can see that they have 159 sites listed.
Visit every site you can and add your link and description to their directory if the site allows you to do so.

Well, the idea is pretty good. Your website can be really useful to both parties (programmers and customers).
There are things about design and layout I would change, but important is the content and the how trustful the website looks.
When I would like to order something and I get ridiculous small prizes, then I would like to get something more than companies' names and some links. I mean, have they allready got some cases, feedback from previous projects etc. Programmers on the other hand need more quaranty that your "customers" are going to order something and not just checking prices.
Really good way to promote this kind of site is using more objective information about programmers and their background. You can also make a rule that every company who joins with your system must put your logo to their webpage. This is really good targeted advertiseing.
If you are interested about co-operation, you can contact me. Because of my work I think I can bring you many new companies to your system.

Well...
In my opinion. I use 5 ways to increase my web site's traffic
1. Submit your web site: this is the way that most people will do.
2. Use some traffic programs: as there are some people mentioned this before. e-mail me sung_wei_wang@yahoo.com if you want a list of traffic programs.
3. Trade links with other webmaster who runs about the szie size of the web site as your site: this is most efficient way to gain visitors
4. Always write some javascripts such as "Add to favorite" "Set as default page" and urge the user to do them. Some researches say that to keep the visitors you have is more efficient to get traffic.
5.Join some big forum and asked people to rate your site: as some people mentioned above
hope this will help
