Hello, I am just wondering where I can learn to write java and what programs I need to do It. I want a simple popup but it has to be large. Links to places where I can learn and get a list of programs would be great...
Thanks
Jason

Try posting in the client side scripting category of this forum. The moderator there runs a1javascripts.com, and is a real pro http://209.61.189.12/~webm/htmlforums/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif

It your wanting to get your pop ups up and running, then I suggest that when you see a pop of the right size that you copy the source code and paste it into your HTML editor. You will have to change things like the source URL and the source file name--but its also a good way to learn.:)

curious...you want to open a JAVA applet, or a JavaScript pop up? (Java and JavaScript are different) JS is lots easier, you can cut and paste a script today for that. For JAVA applets (this is a totally different thing) your going to need to sit down and get into some coding. Depends on what you want the end result to be.

Try this great popup generator by DynamicDrive.com:

but, remember, some people have popup killers, so your pages might not get to some of them.
