I downloaded a software and after unzipping,got a .sit file and nothing else.What do I do from here?What 's a .sit file?

I don't know what a .sit file is, could be anything. Post the link where you downloaded the file from and maybe someone can look at it and help you determine how to use the file.

A file with a .sit extension would be a Stuffit Expander file. It's compressed, and you will need their software from www.aladdinsys.com (http://www.aladdinsys.com) to decompress it. Their software is the best in my opinion. No wizards to go through for decompressing files. Just doubleclick the file and it's done automatically.

I believe files compressed into .sit's are about... 20% smaller than zips. It is the greatest file compression I know of.
