I have a client who has developed a links page whereby people can fill out a form and get a link from his site. There are over 800 links now on the page. My clients now wants to email these people. Problem their was no email address to fill out with the form(Du-oh).
Is their anyway to check whether an email address exists without sneding an email. eg info@thisdomain.com, enquiries@thisdoamin.com, or to check the existing email address for a domain?
Otherwise my clients is goign to ahve to surf into every page and find a live email address.
Anyone?

I may be mistaken, but i think that you can use a whois provider thing (though I'm not sure if thats what they are called... But I think it is) to see who the owner of the domain is, which should have the e-mail address as well as other info such as their company (home) address and phone number. This may also take quit a while with 800+ sites but it should be faster then scouring each site to find them.
Hope this helps :D (and is not incorrect ;) )

I forgot to mention...
most domain registration companies (that I know of) have the whois things to see who owns the domain. I use Stargate Communications, Inc. (http://www.stargateinc.com) (not because it is easier, but because that is who I bought my domain through :D ). All you have to do is search for the domain, even though you know it is taken already, and click on it to see all the owners info.
Yet again, I hope this is not incorrect :D

Foudn a better solution. I've bought a spam generater
Well, I figure that's what its used for anyway. can search the net on a criteria, then get the software to givwe you website addresses, witht he emails for that site.
Can also get it to use a txt delimited file full of website addresses as the criteria.
Pretty crook, but its our there and iz'm using it.
