Hey guys. I'm back and ready with my first round of questions. Does anyone know of anygood online credit card processors? I was looking for something without a monthly fee, but also without an insane percentage rate. does anyone here know of anything like this? thanks in advance.

Welcome back. Well, with the exception of paypal, all billing providers (to my knowledge) will have either a monthly fee + start up cost OR a high percentage rate. The distinction between the two is that one is a "merchant account", while the other is simply a billing provider with access to a merchant account themselves. A merchant account (which should always use authorize.net as their backbone) will typically charge $200 - $400 for their software (if you use a virtual terminal, meaning you wont need hardware), plus a "discount rate" of around 2%-3%. There will also be a $15 a month charge to use authorize.net ( a gateway fee), and there may also be a $10 fee by the sub reseller.
Alternatively, services like ccbill.com, ibill.com and clickbank.com will charge from 10%-20% (which will include a 6 month holdback of about 5%), but will not charge any monthly or startup fees. These programs, however, may limit your maximum purchase price to about $100, and some (like clickbank) do not handle recurring billing. They usually have minimum purchase prices as well, usually around $3.
If you're really interested in a merchant account, you should check out the list of resellers available at their site.
Big Resources currently uses a variety of methods for some of its pay services including ccbill, paypal, and clickbank. But it will be consolidating all of its systems to use a merchant account using authorize.net, and resold through amerimerchant.
