As far as search engines go, getting good results is not an overnight thing. It takes weeks and sometimes months to start seeing good results.

On to the review.

The first thing that really sticks out to me is all the wasted space at the top, that big yellow space should be utilized instead of left blank, an ideal filler would maybe be some sort of ad rotation. Also there is too much horizontal space between your logo and your text links.

Next you should make the yellow in your graphics transparent and set the bg color of that table cell to yellow instead, so the difference in hues dont show up. The edges on your curves could be smoothed out a little also.

Navigation:

The links on the left should be a darker color, they are very hard to read against that yellow bg color.

Page body:

The headers for each section should remain a constant color and stand out a bit more. (maybe Bold the text) it would look more professional and give the site a more uniform look and feel.

Hi again,
I have made a lot of changes on my site and I want someone to give it a try. Moreover, review it and tell me if it is good enough for a professional site. In case you can't find my site is http://www.ps2worldwide.com

Well I think it's a fair design. You need to sirighten up your graphics a bit and maybe look at sharping up a few images, but I think it's headed in the right direction! :)

hi pete,

i like the colours you have used and although i agree that a few of your graphics could look more clean and sharp, i think you have done well :)

however, your page would not display properly for me. the positioning was all wonky - for starters, an orange, purple and yellow bit was covering some of the news and so was the banner at the top :(

i had the misfortune to view your page with netscape communicator 4.6 which hates web pages, so browser compatability might be the problem.

alternatively the resolution i viewed it at (1024x768 or something big anyway) might have messed things up. i can't view/change the res on this pc, so i couldn't determine what's causing the problems.

Tried it again - same thing; not authorized. Glad I'm not the only one not authorized! ;-) I was feeling slighted there..
