Drop Down Menu Alignment

Hi all,

I am trying to align my drop down menu differently, here is an image of what it looks like now:

as you can tell I got it from a website. I like how easy the menu is but there are two things I want to change. I want the drop down menu to be aligned to the top word (IE the drop down menu below text to be aligned with "genre") and then the other issue is the width is too wide but when I change the default width it doesn't appear to do anything.


Thanks in advance...I was hoping to find someone else to partner up with me on this project but no one replied so I'll just go about asking a million questions and doing it myself :)
