Apache 404

I'm getting a 404 error with my server.

Someone fixed the error for me and changed the directory in witch it looks for index.html. But i fell for a friends torjan and it owned my drive. So i lost all the changes he made, and he just left to serve in iraq (time table my ass). So anyone know how to fix this?

without knowing what's in your .htaccess or server configuration - I'm not sure where to begin...

don't start posting all of your server config though - you might reveal more about your server than you really want to.

yea i thought about that one. Well i dont think very many other people will know about this specific problem so ill take it to a PM
