Hello,

I have already build a website and I only need to upload to my url: www.grupofdi.com

I am using a mac server. First I thought I was supposed to paste the website files to /Library/Webserver/Documents. By doing this I am now able to see the website if I type localhost on Mozilla but if I go to my webpage I will see the same Apache information.

This message can be currently read in the website:

If you are the website administrator:

You may now add content to the directory /var/www/html/. Note that until you do so, people visiting your website will see this page and not your content. To prevent this page from ever being used, follow the instructions in the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf.

I guess I should now add content to that directory but I dont even know how to find it using a mac. I am kind of a noob with mac to and I guess this is a easy question I just need some help to get going here.

Thanks for you help!

/Library/Webserver/Documents - this is mac's document root by default
/var/www/html/ - you cannot find this in Mac

Apache is telling you only a sample document root directory

Please double-check on your httpd.conf this is found in /etc directory.
Make sure you have the right user permission or you may use root just be careful.

Hope this will enlighten you more.
