what can i use to get a lot of hits with search engines?

Getting a high ranking is probably one of the hardest things to do, unless you have a lot of luck & money.

But there are many things you can do to increase your odds of getting a high ranking for a certain keyword.

Some important things search engines look for:
Title (very important)
Meta Description (describe your site)
Meta Keywords (keywords about your site)
First body paragraph (or first chunk of text that loads at the top)

This list will grow, or hopefully some more people will add to the list.
