As a teacher I created this site in my class for teaching pupils about HTML. Its not very complex but does help a basic web site to be created and exported as an HTML file which can then be further edited. Lots of limitations but can get you going quite quickly. Help pages explain further. Might be of interest.

msl7776, I guess you are after a WYSIWYG html editor. These are great for beginners. Any other kind of html editor would involve you to know advanced html in order to properly design a page.
There are many such editors available on the web. Some free, some trial.
Trial versions are usually better because they come packed with more features since the money they get from selling licenses is usually invested back and covers further development cost.
Free versions could also be very good. My advice however is to use trial versions. Dreamweaver is the best editor in my opinion. Even if it's trial I saw you even provided the name as reference. So my question is: Why not use dreamweaver?
hmm.... i have never tried dreamweaver! i have always been using notepad for my pages!
