I want a mouseover to swap layers as well as images, creating sort of a submenu effect. So far, I haven't had any luck with the code that I ripped off of Scripter.com (http://www.scripter.com) (what can I say, at least I'm honest). Does anyone know of any tutorials on this subject? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, the menu on scripter.com does not swap layers, these are transparent images using image maps. So when you place your mouse over the left link to open the sub menu, it really swaps 2 images at once, the button and the submenu. here is one of the sub menus. http://www.scripter.com/images/ui/submenu_places.gif
As for a script that you are looking for, I'm still looking, but I hope this clears up how the script on that site works, it is actually quite simple (not to mention well done :))

Actually, Ian, it does use layers. I went back and managed to get the code to work for me. At first I suspected that it used image maps also, but a look at the bottom the source reveals all of the layers that are used. It's a great script, because with layers, the rollover can trigger text instead of images, which is what I ended up doing.
