Wish to use (need) a simple password script prior to allowing access to the page. Any helpers?

You can use HTACCESS (http://www.perlaccess.com/tutorials/8/8.1.html) or JavaScript (http://www.a1javascripts.com/essential_scripts/password.html).

Htaccess protection is always better than JavaScript, which can have loopholes and can be easily broken. If looking for HTACCESS servers choose Netcabin (http://www.netcabins.com) or Hypermart (http://www.hypermart.net)
