How to approach it

Alright I have a healthy, growing site called www.halowarzone.com. Its for a video game that's not out yet, so I want to contact game stores and see if they want to advertise their site on mine for pre-orders of the game. My rates are crazy low right now, you can find all of them at http://www.halowarzone.com/advertise.php

My question is how should I approach the gaming companies, IE: Gamestop? They say on their site

While we appreciate your interest in GameStop, we are not accepting unsolicited sponsorship or business proposals at this time.

Should I email them anyway? If so what should I say?

If they say it, they probably mean it, but I suppose there is no harm in asking anyway if you don't get your hopes up. What you can do though, is participate in their affiliate program, which you can find below:
