Hi.
I have made a form for people to send in information, but lot of people are having problems with it. In order to send in the form the user must have mail on their computer. Lots of the users are using computers outside their home and dont have mail configured for them. How can I get the form without sending it by their own mail?

Is it possible to use the mail system on the server? I have my site posted at my ISP's server and have editing rights by telnet.
This is the information I have about mail on the server:
[tmelbye web]$ whereis mail
mail: /bin/mail /etc/mail.rc /etc/mail /etc/mail.db /usr/lib/mail.help /usr/lib/
mail.tildehelp /usr/libexec/mail.local /usr/man/man1/mail.1

Im kind of lost here...

Hi, as you have guessed, .cgi or a server based application is the only way to go for you. You can either use a remote .cgi script, or as you have .cgi access, have a look on 123webmaster for a script that suits your requirement. http://www.123webmaster.com/Scripts/Perl/Extras/Forms/ there are plenty to chose from and some take very little to set up.
If you have any problems, please post in the server side scripting forum.
Good luck.
