ICQ, (AOL's other messaging system), seems to be suffering from a similar vulnerability as AOL IM (AOL's standard messaging system). The problem is a Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability. The problem leaves a chance for a remote user to execute code on your system if you click on a link they send you, meaning they could spread viruses to your machine, or do whatever else they like.
ICQ is suggesting an immediate upgrade to fix this problem:
