I have not noticed any missing "www's" since I deleted my bookmarks.
I'll try and watch for that next time.

just had a thought - what version of IE, and do you have any kind of multi-version install of IE - so you have IE6 and IE7 or others installed all on the same comp?

Right now IE 7 is working pretty good --- for the last couple of days any way.
Mozilla is having problems now and it is the latest version and there is no old version of either browser.

It is no big deal logging on here all the time. I just can't understand why I have trouble here and nowhere else.

We're about to do an apache update on the forums server. When this is done I will add in a directive to forward htmlforums.com to www.htmlforums.com automatically, which should ensure the proper cookie is always used. I would expect this to happen March 27th/28th.

The forward is now in place, so htmlforums.com will not forward to www.htmlforums.com. Let me know if any other login problems crop up, however you may want to do a fresh delete of all cookies first in case a cookie is on your computer that does not currently have the www.

Yesterday all was fine with the new tweaks.

I just got an email that a thread I was subscribed to had a reply and I followed it here and once again I was not logged in.

I checked my Mozilla cookie list and they are set to stay good until they expire and HTMLforums is on the list of allowed cookies.
