Hi Happy! It's pretty easy to do. Just open notepad, then click file > open and select the BoxedArt SEO template you want to update. You will be looking at in source code view. Find this code on the page:

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-3342666785640345";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 90;
google_ad_format = "728x90_as";
google_ad_type = "text";
google_ad_channel = "";
google_color_border = "fbfbfb";
google_color_bg = "fbfbfb";
google_color_link = "469f00";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "008000";
google_ui_features = "rc:6";
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

This part is the placeholder google ID: pub-3342666785640345

When you login to adsense or make a banner in adsense you will see a similar ID. Just replace yours over top of that one. All the pages in the SEO templates are already linked together, and they all get content from http://www.thefeedtool.com, and further the pages are already linked together. So, after you change the code for adsense, just upload the files in the HTML folder and your site is all ready to go.

1happykamper if in the future you will get such templates from other sites you might be interested checking the readme that came with the template. I have encountered some templates that have special external files that you have to edit so that you can use your adsense id.

What kind of tutorials about adsense are you after?

Optimizing for a better click through rate or for higher paying ads (things like that), or something else ?
