Custom Banner Ads for my Site?
I am working on my first site and want to ad a side column for banner ads. I don't like Google's text ads and I don't want the variety of banner styles to detract from my site presentation. Is there a way to have ads on my site with custom banners that I create for them? That way the banners can integrate into the site rather than look like they are obviously ads. (kind of like the top banner ads on this forum look like they link to other parts of the site)

As far as I know that is not an option, unless you know the advertisers and they have given you the ok to make adds for them.
Mostly from Google and other advertisers you may get a choice of banner size and maybe some color options but that is about it.
